Marie called today wondering if activated charcoal would work for genital herpes.
Customers have graciously shared with us that they have used activated charcoal for herpes with great success. Remember, activated charcoal is anti fungal and anti bacterial, therefore its a good weapon against herpes symptoms.
We recognize the fact that Herpes is a virus, however, we also know from long experience and through trusted customer testimonials that with the use of activated charcoal they have alleviated many symptoms of herpes with great efficiency.
How to use Activated Charcoal for Genital Herpes Symptoms
Marie wondered if taking it internally would help. I expressed that it could be helpful (as long as she was not on medications as the charcoal would most likely adsorb her meds) however, if it were me, I would also apply it topically as well.
We have noticed that when people are able to take the charcoal internally and use it topically, simultaneously for their symptoms, the results are often faster. I gave her the simple recipe of one part activated charcoal and two parts coconut oil (see recipe below) and told her to apply liberally to the affected area. Be sure to wear pads as this charcoal mixture is black and messy!
Slowly mix until the ingredients are well combined and no lumps of charcoal remain
Place the mixture into the fridge and allow it to thicken to desired consistency or use as is
Applying Charcoal Cream Vaginally Or Rectally
I also shared how she could easily insert this cream vaginally or rectally as follows:
Take a tampon and remove the tampon from the applicator, (plastic applicator is best).
Fill the applicator with the charcoal and coconut cream mixture.
Place the filled applicator in the fridge for at least 30 minutes so that the cream will solidify and not run out.
After the cream has reached a solid state, simply insert as any vaginal cream or like a tampon.
Again, be sure that you have protective pads on as charcoal is messy, but hey, it works! If the herpes is burning and painful, the charcoal cream will often bring seemingly instant relief.
Hi. We do not deny that it is a virus, however, the symptoms of herpes have been helped a lot with the activated charcoal, such as the blisters. We are just sharing what others have shared with us. I have personally used the activated charcoal topically for shingles which is also a virus. I placed very moist poultices each night over my abdomen and it helped tremendously with the rash and greatly alleviated most of the pain. I am sorry that you think that this is shady advertising, we certainly are not like that and spend a lot of time on the phone or via emails with people regardless if they purchase our products or not.
Anyway, I should have addressed the fact that herpes is a virus and that it is only the symptoms of herpes that the charcoal is helpful with. Thank you for taking the time to respond to us, your input is most appreciated and will cause us to be more specific and detailed in the future.
I am glad that this is helpful but want to say that I believe herpes is a virus and your email mentioned that because it was antifungal and antibacterial it would be applicable to herpes. I'm not clear what the logic would be there? I hope that is helpful.
Hi John. Yes, I should have been more clear, that is truly my fault. It is helpful for the 'symptoms' of the virus such as the blisters and perhaps with the painful urination. We have updated our blog to correct my mistake and I truly thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention, it is greatly appreciated!
We do not believe charcoal [activated charcoal] CURES any disease common to man or animals. Charcoal is a natural remedy that does neutralize, adsorb, and/or remove thousands of different biological or man-made poisons from the body, allowing the body to better heal itself the way the Creator designed it to. [But our websites, and hundreds of personal testimonies and research articles have gone a long ways to "cure" a lot of skeptics]
